From a "dark period" Roger started painting in 2015. As a self-taught artist, this has created a new future for him. His mixed media works emerged; they cannot be summed up in one word. The process is purely intuitive; from his own feeling and with music in the background he creates. He uses his life story in every painting.

Roger's artworks are characterized by the 3D depth created by multiple layers of epoxy and acrylic. The manufacturing process is labour-intensive. From a dark background, Roger ads color and light. He starts with about three works at a time. After each layer, a work has to dry for about five days. Combining different materials and techniques into the most beautiful creations, which immediately leave a unique impression and give you the feeling that something very special has been created
