Welcome to Art Gallery Pot!

My name is Brenda Baart, Gallery owner and art stylist at Art Gallery Pot. I would like to use this (online) space to tell you more about myself and the origin of the Gallery. Interior design has been a big part of my life since I was little. My parents had a home furnishing business in Clinge under the name of my father: Baart. In my youth I was surrounded by creative projects, it was therefore logical that I would continue to study in this. I certainly did: after my student years I always continued to follow evening and weekend courses.

I’ve worked as an interior stylist and window dresser, in the beginning of 2000 I started at Pot Interieur as a stylist for the showroom. Art has always played an important role in my interior design, I really believe in the power of a well-chosen piece of art. Art makes an interior unique, it gives a personal interpretation, something that other interior aspects (often) cannot. In 2008 I was allowed to set up Art Gallery Pot within Pot Interieur, a dream came true for me. Art Gallery Pot is a unique art gallery filled with knowledge and creativity, where we work with all artists to create a fantastic art experience for all customers.

At Art Gallery Pot we take the art experience to the next level. People are consciously looking for a work of art that not only fits in with the interior, but also fits within their own emotional world. As a gallery owner at Art Gallery, I come into contact with many artists with beautiful works of art that I like to use in my interior design. Every interior design is a blueprint of your personality and wishes, a tailor-made interior is created. As a stylist I offer tailor-made interior advice for the office, shop, reception area or home. The advice is characterised by a spectacular aspect: ART. I also look at other facets of the interior decoration. Together with the team of Pot Interieur I realise numerous projects: the annual art event, a documentary project about art in the interior, and last but not least an interior “from the arts".

My Flemish roots and the rural environment of the sea and forests are my inspiration for my creations and ideas. Through it all, my driving force remains my family; my husband Paul supports me in all aspects of Art Gallery Pot. I have one daughter Ramanda, she lives a block from us with her boyfriend Renaldo. Besides enjoying creating wonderfully artistic interiors, I also really enjoy taking a walk in Zeeland and drinking a glass of wine on Friday evening.
