Martien Klaassen
After his retirement, Martien Klaassen wanted to exhibit his sculptures. His wife encouraged him to visit Art Gallery Pot and so it happened. Martien listens to the qualities and properties of the natural stone he works with. He uses different techniques such as filing, grinding, chopping and polishing. His works can be of marble, sandstone and soapstone. Unique shapes with respect for the material come into its own in his work.
