Nicole Henderiks

As an artist, Nicole draws her inspiration from nature and everyday moments. Her work is versatile and mostly figurative, focusing on landscapes, nature, and still lifes. Her creations come to life through a combination of sketches, photos, and observation.

Nicole, the creative mind behind Atelier NIMArt, found her calling in art despite a career as an accountant. With a background in art history, drawing, and painting, she decided to follow her passion and furthered her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium.

Her artistic journey began in the attic and grew into the opening of Atelier NIMArt in 2008. Nicole’s work, often figurative, focuses on landscapes, nature, and still lifes, created with ink, pastel, and acrylic. She also creates etchings and woodcuts, often in small editions or as unique pieces. Her inspiration comes from polders, the sea, forests, and everyday objects.

Nicole's art has been exhibited in galleries both nationally and internationally and published in various magazines and art catalogs. Additionally, she offers drawing and painting courses to small groups, where she shares her passion for art with others.
